Dear Aqua Sports Families,
Our swim school is able to operate without restrictions – effective June 15, 2021.
On December 8, 2020, the California Department of Public Health added learn-to-swim businesses to the “essential business” category. This enabled us to continue lessons through the winter months following existing CDC guidelines.
All our employees were fully vaccinated in early spring. Then in April, we increased Monday through Friday instruction hours adding mornings, and younger students.
On June 15th, San Mateo County Health Services notified us that swimming pools may now operate without restrictions.
Since we fall in the exception category of “indoor youth settings”, observers on deck should continue to wear face masks. Instructors may continue to wear face shields in the pool.
We have been contacting families placed on hold and offering them newly opened lesson times.
